The Movio Exhibitor API is designed to be used by exhibitors and for them to bring their data into the Movio EQ platform. If, and when, we reference an entity provided to us by a exhibitor, we use the exhibitor provided ID to reference it. We do create our own IDs for the entities, but we do not expose them to the user of the API to avoid confusion. This is to ensure that the exhibitor can use their own IDs to reference the entities and to make it easier for them to debug and find entities in their own systems.
